What Does the 4th of July Mean?
writes, "We will be celebrating 4th of July within a few short days. This is a great time to get together with family and friends. However, we should not forget what the 4th really stands for. We will be celebrating 4th of July within a few short days. This is a great time to get together with family and friends. However, we should not forget what the 4th really stands for. I think we, as a nation, are becoming dumb. We have forgotten what it has taken to get to where we are today. And by forgetting our past, we are destined to relive it.

On July 4th, 1776 the colonies decided to declare themselves independent of Britain. By writing a very detailed decree, they decided that they no longer would need to be governed by the Kings of England that had been so very unjust to the colonists in the years before. July 4th was the day America was born.

Today, we celebrate the fact that we are a free nation that is not under the rule of another. But, there is more to the celebration of independence than just the fact that this is the birthday of the United States. In fact, there are many goals and ideas that are represented in this celebration that until this day we fight for and protect around the world.

The Declaration of Independence, the actual decree in which was signed the independence of the United States, stands as a symbol for all of the things that we, as Americans, believe in. What are the symbols that it stands for?

The right to live with the freedoms of religion, without persecution and with the ability to think and do for yourself.

The courage it takes to protect freedom. It took the individuals that signed the Declaration a great deal of courage to do so as they could have been hung for treason. We use this symbol as a means to remind us that courage is often needed in times when our freedoms are threatened.

A symbol that people can live in a country that is governed by its people and that every person in that country is a very important person for its well being.

Today, our Government is changing. It's changing right before our eyes. Yet many people do not care, or do not wish to see the changes. The Government is wanting to take control of our lives, our jobs, our faith, and our health. And this is the very thing our ancestors fought to get away from.

There is still hope for our country. But, we as citizens, have to take a stand and take back control of the government. They work for us. We do not work for them. I encourage everyone to take part in the Wetumpka TEA Party. Let's fight to get back our control before we loose the freedom our country was founded on.

I end this blog with the following creed. I first heard it when I was a teenager. And, I have lived by it ever since.

I do not choose to be a common person.
It is my right to be uncommon -- if I can.
I seek opportunity -- not security.
I do not wish to be a kept citizen,
humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.
I want to take the calculated risk,
to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.
I refuse to barter incentive for a dole;
I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence:
the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of Utopia.
I will not trade my freedom for beneficence
nor my dignity for a handout.
I will never cower before any earthly master
nor bend to any threat.
It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and
unafraid: to think and act for myself,
to enjoy the benefit of my creations
and to face the world boldly and say:
this, with God's help I have done.
All this is what it means to be an American.

Specialists state that mortgage loans help people to live the way they want, because they are able to feel free to buy necessary stuff. Furthermore, different banks offer sba loan for all people.
