Have you been so busy that you haven’t been able to get your pet for his/her photo with Santa? Well, don’t despair as you have another opportunity this weekend since we will be back at the Prattville PETsMART this Sat and Sun, 20 & 21 Dec, from 11-4 each day. Hope to see lots of wagging doggy tails and calm kitties this weekend!

We received a wonderful donation of $250 from the Horizon’s Class at the Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery yesterday and want to thank each of their members for working so hard to help our animals like this. With their help two of our dogs will start their heartworm treatment this week and that certainly makes a positive difference for those two dogs.
It was a great day on Saturday for the Wetumpka Christmas Parade and we had lots of fun waving to the crowds and showing off some of our great dogs. And for those who saw Mystery as the Pet of the Week and on our float, we are thrilled to report that she was adopted to a wonderful family after we returned to the shelter on Saturday. Yeah for Mystery!!!
For all of our volunteers and supporters, please take note that this will be our last full week for a couple of weeks for both the shelter and the Tails End Thrift Store as we will close at noon on 24 Dec, remain closed 25 & 26 Dec and then be back open on 26 Dec. The following week we will also close at noon on the 31st and remain closed on the 1st but be back open on 2 Jan.
